Invitation to two MAFIA seminars in March
Both seminars will traditionally be held in the FJFI building in Trojanova Street. The first one on Tuesday, March 5 from 12:00 in room T212 will be lectured by Bernard Helffer from Nantes Université on the topic - Quantum tunneling in deep potential wells and strong magnetic field. Outside of the regular schedule, on Thursday, March 7, from 2 p.m. in T212, Juan Manuel Pérez-Pardo from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid will lead a seminar on the topic - Controlling the state of a quantum particle in a box by moving the walls. MAFIA seminar: Marco Vogel
We invite you to the next MAFIA seminar, where Marco Vogel (Carl von Ossietzky Universitat Oldenburg) will speak with the contribution "Spectral properties of Robin-Laplacians acting on non-smooth domains and Schrodinger operators with delta'-potentials". Unusually, the seminar will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 2 p.m. in T212 (Trojanova 13 building).
Call for applications: The Czech-French exchange programme for Ph.D. students is open until November 28, 2024
The Embassy of France to the Czech Republic and the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MYES) coordinate the Barrande Fellowship Programme, the exchange mobility programme for Ph.D. students between the Czech Republic and France. Students must apply by January 28th 2024. The programme is designed to provide Ph.D. students in the Czech Republic with opportunities to study in France and Ph.D. students in France with opportunities to study in the Czech Republic.
