Today, 18th December 2017, it is precisely ten years since the original tokamak CASTOR was moved from the Nuclear Physics Institute (of the Czech Academy of Sciences) to Břehová street. Since that, the tokamak group participated in 15 conferences, published 8 articles in impacted journals, and there were defended 3 diploma and 8 bachelor theses. The name GOLEM is a name of animated anthropomorphic being according to Jewish folklore and our tokamak is residing just next to Jewish district.

The device is operated by dr. Vojtěch Svoboda.
