Admission Procedure to the Master Continuation Programmes
The admission procedure at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering is governed by four crucial documents:
- Notification of Admission Procedures to the Master Continuation Study Programme.
- Dean's Directive of Admission Procedures to the Master Continuation Study Programmes.
- And Rules of tuition fee given by the Rector’s office.
- Examples of Entrance examination tests (Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry - according to the study programme)
Application for the academic year 2023/24 is open. The last day that you can submit your application is June 30, 2023. Please pay attention to the Dean’s Directive of Admission Procedure to the Bachelor Programme, as it contains complete and detailed information regarding the admission procedure. Other important documents related to admission procedure are the Notification of Admission Procedures to the Bachelor Programmes and Rules of tuition fee.
A step-by-step guide to the admission procedure:
- Submission of the application at www.prihlaska.cvut.cz.
- Payment of admission administration fee.
- Payment information can be found at the end of the application submission process or in the Dean’s Directive.

- Submission of relevant documents.
- Copy of nostrified diploma of higher education.
- Copy of a certificate confirming your proficiency in English (at least at the B2 level).
- Both documents should be sent by post to the address found at the end of the application submission process or in the Dean’s Directive.
- Passing an entrance examination.
- Invitation to an entrance exam is sent via email to your specified address.
- Its range is determined by the study programme you choose
- In-person, registration for a degree programme at the beginning of the academic year

- Applicants are requested to prove their English language competence at a minimum level of SERR B2 either
a. by submitting a proof of having taken and passed the whole secondary education programme (or any bachelor programme) in English, or
b. by submitting one of the following English language certificates:
Cambridge English Language Certificate - level B2 (e.g. FCE)
IELTS – degree 5.5 or higher
TOEFL – level B2
City & Guilds International ESOL – level B2
telc English B2
Student´s English language competence may be proven by submitting even some other certificate. The decision of acceptance or non-acceptance of this certificate is up to the Department of Humanities and Languages.
c. Unless the student is able to prove their competence by submitting any of the documents under a) and b) above, or, in case the certificate submitted is not recognized (see b) above), the student shall take an entrance examination in English administered by the Department of Humanities and Languages.
