Researchers (with a Ph.D.) have until November 1, 2022 to apply for a Fulbright Research and Lecturer Fellowship, which will provide them with a three to ten-month stay at a U.S. research institution. Also of interest to students of Faculty on Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the CTU in Prague may be the Science Communication Fellowship for members of the scientific community who are dedicated to making scientific knowledge available to the public on a long-term and sustained basis - in this case, a bachelor's degree and an application by December 15, 2022 are required.
The scholarship covers living expenses, travel, basic health insurance and also contributes to research and professional development. Just winning one of the Fulbright scholarships is a testament to the quality of the recipient. The selection process is a three-round process and the applicant's entire career is considered, with a personal interview with the selection committee in the final round. Usually, one of the five candidates is selected.
