Dr Matěj Hývl received the Werner von Siemens Award in the Best Dissertation category. This accomplishment represents a summary of several years of systematic activity, during which he dealt with the unique topic of characterisation of silicon solar cells by atomic force microscopy. Matěj worked under the supervision of RNDr. Antonín Fejfara, CSc.
