The French Ambassador to the Czech Republic and a representative of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade will introduce the discussions.

The aim of the organizers is to increase the attractiveness of the nuclear sector – especially for students and young graduates in nuclear fields. Both the Czech Republic and France have ambitious nuclear energy development programmes that will bring a large number of job opportunities across various sectors of the field.

The changes are related to the effort to respond to the challenges associated with the transition to low-carbon technologies and to achieve the goals of the Green Deal approved by the European Union. Nuclear energy will be a key element of the Czech energy mix in the coming years. Representatives of ČEZ are now selecting a company that will build the fifth unit of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. Currently, France's EDF, the American Westinghouse and the South Korean company KHNP are competing for the contract.

Whether you're a student or a young professional, come and discover the wide range of training offer in this field, as well as the associated professions and career paths, at this event, and talk to numerous experts in the sector!

This event is organized by I2EN (International Institute of Nuclear Energy) and the French Institute of Prague.
